More Resources for Sixties Survivors:

This page is an ongoing work in progress and I’ll be adding to it constantly. So, please continue to check back for interesting resources from around the net, around town, and elsewhere. For further thought, research, incorporating into your lives and routines, interesting gadgets to acquire, and more.

Who else can help, where should I go next, what else is out there that I should explore or take advantage of, to meet my personal goals, whether they be related to nutrition, weight, diet, exercise, employment, love, and more? Use any of the many links in the previous section. These are all great resources and good reading, too.  Here are some more.

And, of course, you can always “Google it.”

Seriously, we’re all different. My tale will apply to many, but not to some. It is my hope I’ve provided a few tools, if not ones that actually apply or worth adopting for your goals, I’ll get you thinking, get you to call someone from your past to reconnect, get you more confident today than you may have been yesterday, that there’s a brighter path to your tomorrow. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Here are some more resources I’ve used, in addition to the posts from my Facebook friends, and LinkedIn connections for business:

EventsGet into healthy, competitive or social events – contact local charities or visit SetUp Events – see what’s in your area. Start big or small, individually or with friends, as I did.

The YMCA – this is mine – find yours, or any other gym that meets your profile and needs, whether athletically or socially. Misery loves company. Never more true than at the gym.

Scales – buy one, get on it – if yours says, “Hey, one at a time!”, like mine did, then it’s time to get real.  Google “scales”, buy one online, or go anywhere locally where you like to shop for home accessories to WalMart, Bed, Bath, Beyond, Williams Sonoma, Macy’s, Home Depot, wherever.
